COVID --- Blue Hose Update Attendance Policy for Outdoor Spring Sports; College at 200 coronavirus cases (cumulative).

Presbyterian College announced Monday updated spring 2021 policies for spectator attendance at outdoor home athletic events. A limited number of Blue Hose fans will be admitted to outdoor events and will be determined by a pass list generated by PC players and coaches. These policies go into effect Monday, March 8.

The updated policies refer only to Presbyterian College fans, and apply to Bailey Stadium, the Baseball and Softball Complexes, Martin Stadium, and the Tennis Center.

PC players and coaches in their respective sport will be provided the opportunity to list up to three individuals on the home team pass list. Only those on the pass list will be allowed into the facilities. No visiting team spectators will be allowed.

Masks will be required, and spectators are encouraged to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms. A temperature scan will be conducted at the entrance and those with a reading of 100.4 or higher will not be admitted.

Tailgating will not be permitted, and spectators will not be allowed to bring outside food or drinks into any venue.

Presbyterian College student and visitor policies remain unchanged.  Presbyterian College students can enter outdoor facilities with a valid PC student i.d.

The spectator policy at indoor athletic events remains unchanged. Only participants and gameday personnel will be permitted in the Templeton Center during those events. This protocol applies to men's and women's basketball, men's and women's wrestling, acrobatics and tumbling, and volleyball.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID- 19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness, with individuals over 65 years of age and with underlying medical conditions being especially vulnerable. By attending an athletic event on the campus of Presbyterian College, the individual assumes all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
