Allstars first game in state tournament is Saturday morning

The Clinton YMCA O-Zone 11 and 12 year old Allstars, above, open the 2016 South Carolina Dixie Youth state tournament at Patriot Park in Sumter on Saturday. Opening ceremonies are Friday, July 15. Clinton will play Saturday at 11:30 a.m. against Lake City in the opening round of the double-elimination tournament, which will end Thursday, July 21. Clinton qualified for the state tournament by winning the District 5 tournament in Abbeville. Head Coach Matt Stewart is assisted by Brian Fortman and Josh McLendon.
