PC Announces Football Schedule Changes
Blue Hose will host Monmouth in first ever Thursday night home game
The Presbyterian College athletic department has announced two schedule changes for the upcoming 2016 football season. PC will now travel to Gardner-Webb on Saturday, October 8, before hosting Monmouth on Thursday, October 13 at 7 p.m. in Bailey Memorial Stadium.
With the changes, PC will host its first ever Thursday night game at Bailey Memorial Stadium. It also gives the Blue Hose two Thursday night games in 2016, as they open the season at Central Michigan on Thursday, September 1.
“We are excited to be able to host a game on Thursday night,” athletic director Brian Reese said. “It should be a lot of fun for everyone involved, especially our students and fans. We look forward to the unique setting and hope to have a great atmosphere.”
“We are looking forward to having a Thursday night game at Bailey Stadium under the lights,” said head coach Harold Nichols. “It should be a great atmosphere for our fans.”
Remaining game times and game designations will be announced at later date.
